Window Glazing
Whether you’re looking for warmth, a peaceful night’s sleep or to enjoy a sun-filled room without overheating, Snug has the perfect high-performance glass for you.
Whichever you choose, all the glazing units in the Snug range are internally beaded for extra security.

Double Glazing
With u-values as low as 1.2W/m²K and BFRC Energy Ratings of up to A+, all the energy-efficient double-glazed and triple-glazed windows in the Snug range deliver the highest levels of thermal performance.
Critical to achieving such performance is our glass, which features a microscopic, invisible metallic coating that boosts energy efficiency and enhances comfort.
And by blocking harmful UV rays, it will protect your furniture from fading and sun damage.

Triple Glazing
Triple-glazed windows in the Snug range offer the ultimate level of heat retention and sound insulation. They feature three panes of glass separated by two layers of inert gas.
The three panes of glass present a significant deterrent to intruders, and the construction is inherently robust, especially when combined with some of the finest locking mechanisms available, offered within the Snug range.
The Science of Glass
Glass is the single most important factor in defining the energy performance of your new windows and doors.
All the double-glazed and triple-glazed glass units in the Snug range use smart low-emissivity (low-e) coatings to trap and hold energy.
They also have warm-edge spacer bars, which separate the sheets of glass to put distance between the cold air outside and warm air inside.
This cavity is filled with argon, a gas denser than air which creates a highly effective insulating barrier, helping to keep your home warm even in the freezing depths of a British winter.
The window frames feature five internal chambers in the sash and six in the outer frame. This thermally efficient ‘honeycomb’ creates a series of barriers to conserve heat.

Sound Reduction Glass
The standard double-glazed windows and doors within the Snug range will keep plenty of outside noise from entering your home.
However, if you live in a particularly high-traffic area or your neighbours like to share their love of rock music a little too freely, you can always opt for special sound reduction glass.
