Privacy glass (also known as obscure glass) is designed to make it more difficult for onlookers to see what you’re up to but with no loss of light coming into the home.
It is typically found on toilet and bathroom windows but increasingly we are seeing it specified on back door and entrance doors where it can be specified in a range of attractive floral, geometric and cloudy glass designs.
Doorco FLiP - Save time in glazing
Our composite residential door range is supplied with Doorco’s FLiP composite door glazing system as standard. This includes Doorco’s patented Foam in Place Technology. This is factory applied so that forming the perfect seal between the cassette and frame, eliminating the requirement to use glazing tape.
This enhanced seal means that our Doorco composite door range is fully compliant with BS6375-2015 and EN1027 standards, resistant to more than 1000pa in weather testing.
In addition to achieving a better seal, by eliminating glazing tape the Doorco FlLiP composite door glazing cassette it cuts installation time by 3-minutes per unit, saving time on site.
Our composite door ranges are also available with a wide choice of glass side panels.
